Nominations for the FIA Board or Council Positions for 2024 are now Open!

Don’t miss the opportunity to have your say and help shape the future of fire safety. FIA member companies can now submit nominations for the 2024 FIA Councils and Board! Whether it’s self-nominating or putting forward an employee. Nominations close on 3rd October. Successful candidates will be announced at the FIA AGM on 7th November. Submit your nomination today by logging in and completing the form.

FIA Members, don’t miss your chance—submit your nominations by 3rd October 2024!

These positions will be voted upon and formally announced at the 2024 FIA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 7th November.

Each member company can now self-nominate or nominate one of their employees to serve on one of the seven Councils or the FIA Board, giving your company a voice in the following areas:

  • Fire Detection & Alarm Council
  • Services Council
  • Fire Extinguishing Council
  • Fire Risk Assessment Council
  • Fire Engineering Council
  • FRES Council (Fire and Rescue Suppliers)
  • Export Council

Each Council has a specific area of focus and will attend quarterly meetings throughout the year. Voting is not required at this stage (opens on 4th October) – This is just the call for nominations.
