In mid-2021, the FIA invited people in the industry to participate in a Special Interest Group, set up under Working Group 27 (Alarm Devices). The focus of the group was to create a guidance document for those involved in the design, installation, commissioning, and servicing of fire alarm systems where occupants of buildings have sensory sensitivities.

Thanks to the hard work of the group and the additional input from experts in the relevant fields that the document discusses, we are excited to announce that we plan to publish the finished document in time for Firex (17^th – 19^th May 2022).
