Over the last year there has been a decrease in the availability of components to the UK fire industry, which in turn is reducing the amount of manufactured assembled products being placed on the UK market.

The FIA has been monitoring developments in this area and is liaising with relevant UK Government departments, most recently with Scottish Government regarding the new legislation mandating that all homes must have interlinked fire alarms installed by February 2022.

The FIA understands that this will be challenging to achieve and would therefore like your input via this short survey. The results will help us to display to Government the current situation being experienced by people and businesses in the fire industry.
